Waitlist - Frequently Asked Questions

Q.
What does it mean to Waitlist a Disney Vacation Club Resort and how do I submit a Waitlist request?
A.

If a Disney Vacation Club Resort is not available that matches your specifications, you can request to be placed on the Waitlist for that Resort.

To easily Waitlist a Resort, just search online for the Resort you want and specify your desired dates, room type and the number in your party. If the Resort with all the specifications you requested is not available, simply choose "Waitlist This Entire Stay."

Remember: Members can only be added to a Waitlist for Resorts that are within their booking window. Home Resort reservations requests can be made up to 11 months in advance. Other Disney Vacation Club Resorts can be booked up to 7 months in advance.

Waitlist requests can be submitted up to 7 days before your Check-In date, although it is advisable that you do so far in advance. There is no guarantee, however, that your Waitlist request will become available. So you may want to book alternate accommodations by altering your Check-In or Check-Out dates or searching for accommodations at a different Disney Vacation Club Resort.

Waitlist requests are active up until 31 days or up until 7 days prior to your Check-In date based on your request. Once you're within that 7-day window, the Waitlist is not available.

If your Waitlisted Resort becomes available, your Waitlist request will be confirmed automatically and a confirmation will be sent to you.

You can have up to 2 active Waitlist requests per Membership per Use Year.

PLEASE NOTE: If your account is not current, you may still be able to set up a Waitlist as long as it doesn't require banking, borrowing or transferring Vacation Points. However, Members who are not in good standing may not set up a Waitlist.
