MagicBands are lightweight, flexible wristbands as well as secure all-in-one devices. They allow you to effortlessly connect to all the Walt Disney World vacation plans you make online using the My Disney Experience planning page.

With a MagicBand on your wrist, you'll travel lighter throughout your vacation. You can use your MagicBand to:

• Unlock the door of your hotel room at select Disney Resort hotels.
• Enter theme parks and water parks (with valid park admission).
• Connect Disney PhotoPass images to your account.
• Charge food and merchandise purchases to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room (only available during your hotel stay).

Unveiled in 2021 and available in the My Disney Experience app, Disney MagicMobile service is a convenient and more contactless way to access MagicBand features, like theme park entry, through the power of eligible iPhones, Apple Watch or Google Pay enabled Android phones. With this new offering, MagicBands will no longer be provided on a complimentary basis with new Disney Resort hotel reservations for Guests with arrivals beginning January 1, 2021 and beyond. • Other select merchandise and retail locations

MagicBands use Radio Frequency (RF) technology and can be read by short and long-range readers located at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you prefer to use a card—which cannot be detected by long-range readers—you can request a card at your Disney Resort hotel. MagicBands and cards allow you to enter the parks and unlock your Disney Resort hotel room.
