How It Works
FootGolf is played on a FootGolf course, which closely resembles a traditional golf course. Players kick a regulation soccer ball along the course, aiming to reach 21-inch-diameter cups in as few shots as possible. The rules of the game are very similar to golf—with bunkers and hazards providing additional challenges along the way.Play as a single or bring friends and family to join in the fun! When played in groups of 4, 9 holes of FootGolf should take approximately 90 minutes.
The Course
Disney’s Oak Trail FootGolf course is 1,240 yards over a par for the course of 35—with a challenging selection of par 3s, 4s and 5s. This 9-hole FootGolf course is certified by the American FootGolf League (AFGL), the governing body for the sport of FootGolf in the United States. Tee times can be booked to play 9-hole FootGolf either in front of or behind those playing 9 holes of traditional golf.
Equipment and Apparel
Feel free to bring your own soccer ball or rent a soccer ball from the Disney’s Oak Trail pro shop.
Since the game is played on a golf course, the basic uniform of FootGolf is golf apparel with soccer shoes or running shoes. (Soccer cleats are not permitted.) A sturdy walking or athletic shoe is recommended to protect your feet from injury.
