About Disney's Original Island Escape – Reimagined!
Introducing Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows—located at the heart of a modern island paradise.
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has been a favorite Disney destination since 1971. Designed as an island that celebrates the spirit of the South Pacific, it was part of Walt Disney's original vision for Walt Disney World Resort.
Recently, it has embarked on one of the most exciting updates in its long and storied history. Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is the culmination of that Resort-wide refresh—where mid-century modern design meets traditional Polynesian style in a blissful union of Disney heritage and the South Pacific spirit of aloha.
Check out the reimagined Lava Pool and the Kiki Tiki Splash Play area. Or experience firsthand the 142-foot waterslide! For a nominal fee, you can take your kids to Lilo's Playhouse for supervised games and activities—while you enjoy a date night at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto or an adult afternoon at the pool!

In the Disney Vacation Club longhouses of Tokelau, Moorea and Pago Pago, designers created rooms that evoke the spirit of the Islands and the legacy of Walt Disney himself. The 20 overwater Bora Bora Bungalows offer Members a truly magical experience—sweet dreams over the gently lapping waters of Seven Seas Lagoon.
Relax in the stylish comfort of the largest Deluxe Studios at Walt Disney World Resort—larger than most Disney Vacation Club Studios. Natural finishes are complemented with bright pops of color and whimsical Disney art. Design elements evoke the islands and the beach with surfboard-inspired coffee tables, while the mid-century modern look of the furniture evokes Walt Disney's own era. The carpeting features Polynesian-inspired patterns with a subtle hidden Mickey incorporated into the design.
The colorful artwork was inspired by the flora and fauna of Polynesia—the centerpiece is a whimsical work based on the Jungle Cruise attraction. For your convenience, you'll find hidden drawers under the bed that offer additional storage. Each Deluxe Studio also features a private porch or balcony.
In the sleek bathroom, the counters were inspired by the look of volcanic rock, while the bright colors and shapes of the accent tiles are based on the art of Disney Legend Mary Blair, whose patterns and designs reflect mid-century modern shapes and colors. The bathroom includes 2 separate areas for your convenience.
Deluxe Studios sleep up to 5 guests and some offer views of Seven Seas Lagoon.
Boasting a private back deck, plunge pool and room for up to 8 Guests, the 2-bedroom, 2-bath overwater Bungalow is a unique addition to the Disney Vacation Club Resort accommodations. Each idyllic Bungalow was carefully positioned for a view of Magic Kingdom fireworks from the back deck, which also features speakers that can pipe in the music along with the show.
Stroll to your Bungalow across the wooden plank boardwalk, typical of Polynesian-inspired clusters of bungalows on the ocean. The roof of each Bungalow reflects the traditional design of the longhouses at the Resort—and features similar accent colors and graphic designs in the gable.
Inside, finishes and design elements incorporate a variety of natural and organic materials, including distressed wood flooring, cloth-like wall coverings, exposed wood ceiling beams, distressed bronze metals and lava rock-inspired solid surfaces and tiles.
The living, kitchen and dining areas share an open floor plan, with oversized windows and sliding glass doors offering views of the Lagoon and Cinderella Castle. A full kitchen includes the tools you may need to prepare meals in the privacy of your Bungalow.
Stretch out on comfortable lounge furniture on a back deck that runs the length of the Bungalow, and cool off with a dip in your private plunge pool. A separate private seating area features hanging chairs. Each Bungalow also includes its own laundry area with washer and dryer.
