General Booking Rules
The following guidelines apply to all Disney Collection reservations—including National Geographic Expeditions trips:

A non-refundable $95 transaction fee applies per confirmed National Geographic Expeditions reservation.

If payment is not received at the time of confirmation, Disney Vacation Club reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
Booking Rules for National Geographic Expeditions
The following booking information is specific to National Geographic Expeditions trips:

Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive a points activity statement from Member Services within 14 days.
The Rule of Four Applies
You cannot book and travel to a Disney Collection destination within the last 4 months of your Use Year (excluding Disneyland Resort in California and Tokyo Disney Resort).
You can, however, travel in the last 4 months of your Use Year as long as you have booked your stay more than 4 months before the end of your Use Year.

Airfare to and from destination is not included and travel time necessary to reach a given destination is not included in calculating trip lengths. Certain trips may begin early on the first day of the itinerary and may end late on the last day. Members should contact Member Services for additional information, including trip components and dates, details about overnight accommodations that may be required before and after itinerary dates, gratuities, additional surcharges, etc.

National Geographic Expeditions reservations must be made prior to the last 4 months of your Use Year for trips during that Use Year.

Membership Extras, such as vacation options in the Disney and Concierge Collections, certain discounts, offers, and special events are incidental benefits. These incidental benefits are subject to change or termination without notice, may require the payment of a fee and cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions. Disney and Concierge Collection options are not available for ownership interests not purchased directly from Disney Vacation Development, Inc. after March 21, 2011 and, effective April 4, 2016, Members who have not purchased an ownership interest directly from Disney Vacation Development, Inc. will not have access to Membership Extras. Effective June 3, 2021, to obtain a Disney Vacation Club Membership Card, Members must accumulate a total of at least 150 Vacation Points purchased directly from Disney Vacation Development, Inc.
