Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas

Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas is located in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park area and is set amidst 4 African-style wildlife savannas. Most rooms feature views that let you observe the animals from your own balcony! This exciting retreat is comprised of 2 complexes: Jambo House and Kidani Village.

Theme

Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas feature African-inspired architecture and offer expansive views of the surrounding savannas and their free-roaming animal inhabitants. In the Resort, you can find thatched ceilings, large beams, hand-carved golden-tone furnishings and genuine African artifacts. In addition, throughout the building, there are alcoves with glass windows that provide views of the meticulously constructed savannas.

Savannas & Animals

Sunset Savanna, Arusha Savanna, Uzima Savanna and Pembe Savanna are the 4 savannas located nearby at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas. Each savanna features a unique look and feel, and is home to a variety of exotic animals like giraffes, gazelles, marabou storks, zebras, wildebeests, ostriches and more.

Dining

Enjoy 4 restaurants—3 African-themed and one serving American cuisine:

• Boma - Flavors of Africa: Dine under thatched roofs at this buffet-style restaurant and try African food inspired by the culinary culture of more than 50 countries.
• Sanaa Restaurant: Sample flavorful tandoor oven and slow-cooked specialties inspired by the cultures along the historic spice route. Select tables offer views of animals roaming the savanna.
• Jiko – The Cooking Place: Relax at this restaurant where American meals, blended with multi-cultural influences, can be paired with an impressive selection of wines.
• The Mara: Open morning to night, The Mara offers a selection of soups, sandwiches, salads, pizza and burgers. Dine indoors or poolside.

Recreation

Animal-themed activities and educational programs are available for family activities. Other recreational options include: themed pools, relaxing spas, fitness centers and a children's activity center. Some amenities and options are located at or nearby Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and may require additional fees.

Transportation

Destinations throughout Walt Disney World Resort, including Disney Theme Parks and Disney Water Parks, are accessible by bus.

Pools, Playground & Water Play Area

• Uzima Pool: An 11,000+ square-foot, zero-depth entry pool features a 67-foot long slide, with wading pool and hot tubs.
• Samawati Springs Pool: An approximately 4,700-square-foot, zero-depth entry pool with 128-foot long slide and 2 adjacent hot tubs.
• Hakuna Matata Playground: Nearby 24-hour playground overlooks the flamingo area and the savanna.
• Uwanja Camp Interactive Water Play Area: Includes Observation Station for children ages 4 and younger, Departure Zone for kids ages 5-7, and Base Camp for kids 8 and older.

Massage & Fitness Centers

Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas offers 2 well-equipped workout centers that are complementary for Guests staying at the Resort. Spa services require additional fees:
