To become a Member, you'll purchase a real estate interest in a Disney Vacation Club Resort, which is represented by an allotment of Vacation Points. While a minimum number of Vacation Points is needed to become a Member, you decide how large an interest you'd like to purchase. Each and every year of your Membership, you'll receive this allotment of Vacation Points to use however you'd like—enjoy a shorter vacation in Deluxe Studio accommodations, or a longer stay in a more spacious Villa at Disney Vacation Club Resorts. The number of Vacation Points you'll use for each trip depends on where you vacation, how long you stay, what time of year you go, and which accommodations you select.
Here's how Vacation Points work:- You receive an annual allotment of Vacation Points.
- Vacation Points are used to book accommodations at Disney Vacation Club Resorts and over 500 other locations worldwide.
- Use your Vacation Points however you'd like - with Deluxe Studios, One and Two-Bedroom Villas and Three-Bedroom Grand Villas, you can choose accommodations that fit the scale of your vacation each time you stay at a Disney Vacation Club Resort.
- As a Member, you can add on to your Membership at any time to fit your family's changing vacation needs.
Costs are based on a cash purchase of a real estate interest at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas:

Where Membership Can Take You. Based on this example, you receive 160 Vacation Points each year of Membership. Our Vacation Points system allows maximum flexibility. You decide your vacation destination, when you want to go, and what room type. All accommodations are based on availability.
